..As a fan of the Friday the 13th series I had great difficulties watching this reboot the 1st time. So much was wrong w/ trying to cram 3 movies into 1 reimaging. Besides I didn't much care for this Jason as he sets traps, kidnaps people & runs faster than Jesse Owens. I like my Jason who just kills & teleports. Upon another viewing I had to kinda throw my arms up against it. The 1st set of kills are decent as Jason murders them all in pretty glorious fashion. It's b/c he's protecting his pot crop. Jason needs to mellow too you know. I've mellowed b/c I'm so hard up for a new Friday the 13th movie that I'll settle for this. Oh Jason I miss you...here it is Wednesday & I have Friday on my mind
