Speedtrap (1977)

..Personally I have never had the thrill of stealing a car except playing Grand Thief Auto.  Joe Don Baker (as sexy as ever) is out to stop The Roadrunner who is stealing high end automobiles via remote control.  There's lot of high pursuit chases & plenty of crashes as Baker commandeers every vehicle on the road.  He doesn't fuck up his own sweat ride w/ a paint job like Starsky & Hutch's Gran Torino though.  If he does he always has his buddy Richard Jaeckel @ the garage to help him out.  It's no big spoiler The Roadrunner is Tyne Daly as you could tell by her sweet ass before she's unmasked.  Remote starters must only been a science fiction dream in 1977.   Now you're the old kid on the block if you don't have one installed
