..Superfly is back!...well in name only. Ryan O'Neal thought it was best to sit this one out. It's too bad b/c most of the elements are present for a fine blaxploitation even if the genre was long past. Curtis Mayfield even comes back in the mix. It's biggest downfall is I could never get into Nathan Purdee as Priest. His last role before this film was on Santa Barbara….Hardly Superfly
