..If you are going to rip someone off it might as well be the master Alfred Hitchcock. Where The Birds gives you suspense Beaks makes up for it in gore b/c these birds are pissed. I always have great disappointment w/ nature gone wild movies of this type. The birds are mostly pigeons, seagulls & maybe a hawk. For a moment there I though I was going to get some exotic birds on the rampage. Perhaps a flamingo. No such luck. What I really wanted was a Toucan. Those birds would crack someone's head like a peanut. Just imagine if Toucan Sam went on a rampage & pecked all those children's wooden heads during breakfast
