..Hitchhiking can be a dangerous road game for both the hitchhiker & those who decide to pick them up. I for one learned my lesson early on in life from watching The Hitcher that you run the risk of eating a French fried finger if you pick up someone thumbing a ride. Things are just as unsafe for the hitchhikers themselves as they could be robbed & raped all down hell's highway. My advise for those who want to take on the open road w/ your thumb is to plan ahead & perhaps pack some delicious Fig Newtons
