This film has good look @ urban street life w/ a low budget blaxploitation feel more like Sweet Sweetback's Baadasssss Song than Shaft. Unfortunately Baby Needs a New Pair of Shoes gets lost in the genre as I ended up seeing it under the title Jive Turkey. Personally I think that's a better blaxploitation title & would put it up in the tops of the genre behind Blacula
